Weather for May 1, 2007
May 1, 2007 - 12:00amHey all, as the semester (or for some our undergraduate careers!) comes to an end, the weather looks to be cooperating quite nicely with any outdoor activities. Today we’ll see cloudy skies and even some rain tonight as a weak surface system moves through. Behind that a stationary ridge develops, amplifies and parks itself just to our west for the remainder of the week. This will keep us in an area of subsidence inhibiting cloud development, but it will also keep our wind pattern in a northerly direction bringing in cool air from Canada. Basically, all of this translates into sunny skies, cool temperatures spiking up to around 60 in the afternoons and cool, clear nights. Slope Day looks great with 100 percent chance of campuswide inebriation. Cheers!
