Weather for August 30, 2007

It’s here ... the one week anniversary of classes starting ... how do you feel? Ready for more? Or are you like me when practically all of your friends have no classes on Monday and Friday and have only ‘Wines’ on Wednesday. It must be tough.
But if you ARE like me and your weekend starts after classes on Friday then you have quite a nice weekend to look forward to. This morning a cold front will pass through slowly, bringing a chance of thunderstorms a few hours either side of noon. A slight chance of showers will stick around until Friday morning when we start to clear out and High pressure begins to dominate, warming us back up by Sunday. Good weekend to check out the New York State Fair in Syracuse to see some of the big bands playing there, or you could stay here and watch the freshman cram into Fraternity parties instead.
