Cornell Police are currently investigating an incident that left a student with a lacerated arm outside a fraternity house on Sunday.
Douglas Profenius ’15, a student in the School of Hotel Administration, was found bleeding with a laceration in his right arm on Sunday at about 2:15 a.m. near the Psi Upsilon fraternity. Profenius was taken to Upstate Medical Center for treatment.
“The incident was apparently related to a broken window,” according to a report from the Cornell University Police Department.
Split Second, a self-described “hip hop/rap/indie” band that Profenius is a member of, tweeted, “Say a prayer for our Dougie P” on Monday.
On Tuesday, the band added, “Doug is having some pretty serious health issues.”
