Already proving itself early in the season, the Red will prove a tough opponent tomorrow afternoon, when No.1 Virginia heads on the road to face No. 8 Cornell. Polo Teams Host Regionals, Eye National Championship Berth
March 12th, 2010It’s win or lose for the men’s (11-4) and women’s (13-1) polo teams this weekend as they participate in the Northeast Regionals. This year, Cornell will host the competition at the Oxley Equestrian Center.
The men’s squad will face Kemptville tonight at 7:30 p.m. in a semifinal game, and the women’s side will match up tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. against the winner of Harvard vs. UMass. Read More

Baseball Opens Season on Road in Pursuit of Ivy Title
March 12th, 2010If you’ve been outside the last few days, then you’ve definitely noticed that spring is here. The end of a dreadful winter is an especially welcome sight for the Cornell baseball team, which begins its season on the road at Villanova with first pitch scheduled for 1:00 p.m. The Red then travels to St. Joseph’s for a Saturday afternoon matinee, and concludes its opening weekend against Temple in Philadelphia, Pa. on Sunday.
Cornell takes the field for the 2010 season with hopes of improving upon last year’s Ivy League Championship Series appearance. Read More
Softball Gears Up for Mason Cherry Blossom Classic
March 12th, 2010After starting the season on an impressive four-game wining streak, the softball team will head to Fairfax, Va., this weekend to take part in the Mason Cherry Blossom Classic.

Wittman Named Ivy Player of the Year; Foote, Dale Earn First-Team Selections
March 11th, 2010Now that the 2009-10 Ivy League season has come to a close, the time for awarding individual accolades has arrived. Senior forward Ryan Wittman was officially named Ivy League Player of the Year in a unanimous selection, while senior tri-captain Jeff Foote also received honors as the league’s best defensive player. Senior guard Louis Dale joined his teammates on the First-team All-Ivy squad, and sophomore guard Chris Wroblewski nabbed an honorable mention. Read More

March 11th, 2010I’ll be the first to admit, my talents in life are few and far between. However, one skill I seem to have mastered over the years, is an uncanny ability to make a drinking game out of just about anything. And yes, my parents are very proud.
That said, I present to you the March Madness Drinking Game: 2010 edition.
