SOFTBALL | Red Takes Down Green, Splits Games at Harvard

After splitting its start to the Ivy League season, the Cornell softball team came into this weekend ready to face tough opponents Harvard and Dartmouth. Both  have notoriously strong programs, according to junior Christina Villalon, so the Red came into the weekend ready to face two trying opponents.

With its first race of the spring season in the books, the women’s rowing team is working hard to achieve a positive result in the water.

“We had our first race this past weekend against a fast Yale team,” said senior co-captain Leigh Archer. “While we put up solid pieces across the board, we are going to keep using practices to learn where we can maximize our boat speed.”

MEN'S LACROSSE | Laxers Aim for Fourth Ivy Win

After winning its last three games, including a 16-point blowout over Dartmouth on March 30, the men’s lacrosse team is set to take on Harvard in Cambridge, Ma., on Saturday.

No. 2 Cornell (9-1, 3-0) remains the only team undefeated in Ivy play, while Harvard (4-5, 1-1 Ivy) is tied for third in the league.

GOLF | C.U. Readies for Spring Opener at Yale

The Cornell golf team will kick off its spring season Saturday in New Haven, Conn., at the Yale Spring Opener. After going 1-2 in Ivy Match Play, the Red will be keeping an eye on the other Ivy League teams in this tournament.
